Muhammad Yunus

Professor Yunus (Bangladeshi banker and economist) is the 2006 Nobel Prize winner for his founding of the Grameen Bank, which started making microfinance possible. His belief that credit is a fundamental human right has helped many people escape poverty by teaching them sound financial principles and making microloans.
